Whitney's 2nd Day

California Trip 2011 Part 2

WITH MY SON BEN'S FAMILY
For Christmas 2010 Ben gave me many gifts; and that was taking me with them on a really fun trip with his family.

Thursday, March 3, 2011 Our first stop was at McDonalds to eat.


It was a longer drive to Sea World than Ben thought.

My granddaughter Evie walks really well for being just 8 months old.



Kiersten, age 3 and Kara, age 5 out on our balcony.

We arrived at our nice hotel on Mission Bay.

The view from our balcony was great.








That evening we went to the Historical San Diego area.





I bought a hat to shade me from the sun at Sea World.

They gave us a map of Disneyland and Kiersten was very interested in reading it.

November 2010 Washington Trip

I was looking through my pictures and realized I didn't post any pictures of my fun trip back in November 2010.

My cat Gizmo always knows when I'm packing to go somewhere. He hopped in my suitcase and looked at me like he was saying "Take me"


Becky and the girls love to cook together.



We went to visit Jason and his new wife Lisa.
We also met Jason's cat from outer space.

My new granddaughter

I arrived about a half hour after Nancy's baby girl was born.

Cupcakes for the proud new dad to share, instead of bubble gum cigars.







Then I left and went to get Tommy to meet his new sister. He didn't show any interest in her.


TUESDAY MORNING
Little Whitney has tons of dark hair - it's looks much better after being washed and a bow added.



Tommy finally wanted to see what mom was holding. He climbed up on the bed with Nancy and his new baby sister Whitney.












And then Tommy wanted a really close up view of his new sister. He laid like this for a while just staring at her. It was so precious!!! I'm glad I was there to get to see him meet his new sister.

He kissed her too before he was done.



I brought Tommy back home for a nap.
